Breaking News AlertThe New York TimesWednesday, June 18, 2008 -- 1:34 PM ET----- Agency Backs Boeing Protest on $35 Billion Deal The Government Accountability Office granted Boeing's protestof a $35 billion Air Force tanker contract awarded toNorthrop Grumman Corporation, putting pressure on the AirForce to re-examine the contract.|||The GAO does not have the actual power needed to "clean up" either of those entities.

Only the PEOPLE of the United States actually have the power to clean house as needed. The unfortunate thing is that the vast majority of the people won't understand the real issues. Instead, they will gather their opinions, as opposed to forming their own, from which ever news programs that offer the best entertainment (has Brittney bought panties yet?)!|||dude, you been listening to too much of that "change" and "hope " drivel. the gao is part of the same bloated bureaucracy.
