|||They are about as reliable as the government can get. However, this does not mean they are accurate. When you deal with statistics there is no such thing as accurate.|||If you talking about the Government Accountability Office they SEEM to be mostly honest in reporting.

Why not ask is Congress honest, its just as likely.|||I believe they are. They've skewered politicians on both sides of the aisle repeatedly.
