Could the government save some cash and just print a report stating we are staying in Iraq indefinitely?

Rather than wasting more time and resources with all the jibber jabber about benchmarks and technical details. Just say the special interest groups want us to stay in Iraq for a long time and thats what we are going to do. Really what effect does the GAO report have? If they give a bad report then we stay to help them get on track, good report then the surge is working.|||The "truth" and our Government do not go hand-in-hand.|||Not a bad idea at this point...|||This answer would not be politically asstute to the democratic party needs of bashing the republicans over being engaged in the war for "so long."
